The Maestros is an online multiplayer Arena Real Time Strategy game set in a fantasy universe populated by two factions. The first faction is known as the Knights of Teutonia which have a steampunk aesthetic and control robot minions in battle. The second are the animalistic Alchemists of Regalis, who mutate themselves and other creatures which they use as minions in battle. The game takes place across various maps in a region known as The Isles of Tenshii, which consists mostly of islands of various environments. On these islands live the Tenshii, who are nature-spirits and serve as neutral battles in the game.

In The Maestros, a player starts with a commander from one of the above factions, and battles the neutral Tenshii around the map to gain simple minions. These simple minions can then be transformed into stronger minions with special abilities via special transformation pads around the map. For the Knights of Teutonia, you combine several simple minions into the stronger minions on the transformation pads. For the Alchemists of Regalis, you gather potions from these transformation pads, which you then use on your minions to transform them. Points are scored by killing enemy commanders or map objectives, and games are won by the team who reaches the high score first (e.g. best of 5 rounds or first to 5 kills).
