Matahari Studios, founded in 1999, was an Australian game development company with studios located in Jakarta, Indonesia and Manila, Philippines. It was part of the Leisure and Allied Industries (LAI) group of companies which was formed in 1958. The company's core business was in the creation of game art assets, for companies such as Codemasters, Electronic Arts, Sony and Take-Two.

The Manila studio was sold to Kuju Entertainment in October 2008. On 13th January 2010 Kuju announced to shut it down in the course of the first quarter 2010.

On 4th February 2010 the last remaining studio, in Jakarta, was shut down as well, which meant the end of the company.
