Tomy Company, Ltd. Is a toy company established in 1924 by founder Eiichirō Tomiyama (called Tomiyama Toy Manufacturing Company) at the time. The company produced a number of toylines including model vehicles, figurines, board games, and baby toys. Some toylines were based on licensed brands. The company would enter the digital market in the 1970s, manufacturing consoles such as Blip and computers such as Tomy Tutor, as well as publishing video games by various developers.
