Boston Animation Ltd. was a development studio based in Kiev, Ukraine. It was a division of the US company Boston Animation, Inc. and it was active at least since 1998. Most likely it closed in 2008 and many developers ended up at Crytek Ukraine.
As one of the earliest, large development studios in Ukraine, it provided a launch pad for several Ukranian studios later on, where several Boston Animation developers ended up working, such as GSC Game World and 4A Games.
