Darkworks SA

Overview

Darkworks S.A. is an independent video game development studio based in Paris, France. The story of the company began on January 8, 1998 and it featured a different location, smaller teams, but already a lot of talented people with great goals.

Following the successful release of Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare for Infogrames in 2001, Darkworks announced their partnership with Criterion Inc. for its 3D display engine Renderware in Nov 2002. Such decision defined the looks of their following game, Cold Fear for Ubisoft, released in Mar 2005.

Darkworks is working on action/adventure projects developed on PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC.
