Classic multi-character 8 bit RPG

The Good
For a mediocre game it still has a good story line. It is a good game to play or replay if you want to experience mid 80's RPG's. And you gotta love a game where the evil dark lord Terarin turns out to be a naked well-endowed demon woman just like it shows in the manual. I wonder how that got past the censors.

The Bad
The game style was dated by the time it came out. There was a shift towards action style RPG's and to more graphic details in other games so this one looked old. Most people would have been saving up the $80 at the time to buy Phantasy Star instead. If it would have come out a year earlier it would have been great.

The Bottom Line
This is your standard multi-character quest based limited graphics 1985 RPG. Most of the screen is a flat graphic window showing the landscape that switches to show who you are having an encounter with. There is a top down map to show your location outside and also inside dungeons.
