Good whacky game that deserves a try but that could use some extra-features.

The Good
I've liked being able to experience once more the glorious carnage of our beloved giant monsters. It took me time to find this game again but I knew I was going to have some fun with it. Get to test some super-powers, get to see some new contents, get to know what happens after the first one ?! Even the mini-games are there ! Overall it is a decent Rampage game.

The Bad
The super-long gameplay make the mechanics of the game quite redundant. It's even more challenging as a solo player. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but the music tune in loop could get on your nerves at times.
In fact, the game can be done quite quickly but I would recommend using some saves. Despite the good graphic works all over the levels I do not think the game was made to be played more than a few minutes by the kids who bought it. That being said, I'm not too fond of some of the character designs, I feel like the 1st one on N64 was more cartoony and appealing at some points...
But all that would have been acceptable if there were some high-scores at the end ! The whole point is to compete with your friends to know who can make the most damages ?! I wasn't really there for the plot, you know, but the endgame still looked rushed.

The Bottom Line
It's nice to discover a follow-up to the Rampage series, not a lot of players have experienced the joy of devastating the cities of the world as a giant monster. And this time, we have extra-ones too ! Who will you pick to bounce from building to building across the countries ? Invite some friends and go rescue the original crew ! But be cautious as there are already people on the spot...
