Leaves You Wanting More

The Good
Mini Ninja is a superbly developed and executed action-adventure game. It smoothly blends together action-platforming with the more cerebral, adventure-strategy quest. As an added bonus, the game has an ESRB classification rating for the entire family.

The Bad
My sole complaint is that this is a game that will leave you wanting more. Once you have successfully beaten the game, explored all of the levels, mastered the magic and found all of the hidden items, you will find yourself wanting more.

Alas, Mini Ninja is a game that has not really developed into a well crafted franchise. Giving the right approach and care this could be a very successful series. While the game's story, including the ending, lays out the possibility of many more adventures, it has not yet come to pass.

The Bottom Line
Mini Ninja is fun to watch, fun to listen to, fun to explore and just all-around a fun game to play. It skillfully avoids the "mature" content found in other action-adventure game titles, while still making it enjoyable for the young and young-at-heart. Hopefully, we have not seen the last of these brave warriors adventures.
