Skispringen Winter 2006
Description
Skispringen Winter 2006 is a ski jumping simulation. The handling is quite simple: the player uses the mouse to hold a steady course and clicks at the right moment to jump respectively land. But in comparison to RTL Skijumping 2006 it is more complex, e.g. the player has to do two instead of one timed clicks to achieve a good landing.
In the career mode the player creates his own athlete who starts in the amateur league. For successful competitions he receives prize money and experience points which he reinvests into better equipment respectively better character statistics, e.g. starting speed or shape. Between competitions the player can buy training sessions. In contrast to other non-managerial sports games the training isn't performed by the player himself; he simply receives a message afterwards which describes the results.
There is also the possibility to play a career as coach. The difference is that the player just watches during the competitions and doesn't jump himself. He also has to deal with travel and housing costs. The license is restricted to the 32 ramps.
