The company files for insolvency at the district court in Frankfurt.

July 22, 2008

The company announces to have opened a UK office, headed by David Walker (formerly 505 Games and THQ) and Matthew Walker (formerly Activision and Crave Entertainment).

May 24, 2006

The company drops the StarForce copy protection scheme for its Windows games and migrates to Tages copy protection for future game releases.

March 6, 2006

Together with Digital Reality, the company founds a new development studio: WHIZ Software Kft.

March 11, 2004

CDV announces that due to disappointing financial results, they won't publish The Kore Gang and Psychotoxic. The studios behind those games will be looking for a new publisher.
