The Blacklist: Conspiracy
Description official description
The Blacklist: Conspiracy is a hidden object game based on the American crime thriller television series The Blacklist. The player's character is an FBI investigator who has been tracking the terrorist group The Invisible Hand for four years. Then criminal turned informant Raymond Reddington turns up, offering help. The player's character works with him, but also other characters such as Elizabeth Keen and Donald Ressler, to complete investigations by searching crime scenes, examining evidence and interrogating suspects. In some cases different paths can be chosen, for instance choosing between Red and the FBI. These choices are compared to users worldwide. Many familiar locations from the series are used.
A single case usually consists of four elements: locations, leads, contacts and classified docs. Locations are the main scenes with hidden object gameplay. Based on words at the bottom of the screen, items need to be found as quickly as possible. Locating them quickly in succession provides a higher score as there is a combo meter near the top of the screen. When stuck, a word can be tapped/clicked and held to see a preview. Completing these scenes is rewarded with experience points for the character level, the basic currency cash, and up to five stars. Next to random objects, often 'objects of interest' are found, which serve as clues to the investigation. Analyzing these clues requires stars, so scenes need to be replayed to collect additional ones.
These leads are often completed through a mini-game or a puzzle, such as restoring an image by putting the pieces in the correct place or entering a code. By completing scenes additional ones and contacts are unlocked. Contacts are usually people that need to be interrogated based on the collected clues and sometimes the player's character is interrogated as well to prove understanding of the connections. The classified docs act as a way to keep track of the global progress and the major goals.
Prior to starting a hidden object scene a boost can be chosen. It provides additional hints, starting with a max combo or a slower combo drain. Boosts are paid with the cash currency or by watching an advertisement. The premium currency of gems is used to skip the use of stars to complete analysis of clues. Gems can be bought with real money. Finally the game also uses an energy/stamina system for each hidden object scene initiated. It can be replenished by leveling up, spending a currency or merely waiting. Next to the regular cases there are daily challenges.
