Description
Enclave is a third-person action-adventure game, pitting you as one of twelve different characters in a medieval era.
During a great war, the land of Celenheim was separated into two sides; the light side and the dark side. On the side of the Light, the Enclave was protected from all sides by a wide rift, a bottomless abyss. On the Dark side, twisted forms struggled for survival, while slowly growing more powerful, preparing to invade the Light side once again.
As a player of either side, it is up to you to perform various tasks, leading ultimately to one objective; protect the Enclave (Light) or invade the land (Dark).
To accomplish your tasks, you will utilize various weapons, such as swords, bows, staffs and spears. To aid you, you have shields readily available, as well as a select few potions to help. Armor is abundant, and comes in many shapes and sizes.
As a member of the Light side, you can choose to play as a Knight, a Huntress, a Wizard, a Druid, an Engineer or a Halfling. At the opposite end of the spectrum, you can be a Berserker, an Assassin, a Sorceress, a Lich, a Bombardier, or a Goblin.

The German publisher
Swing! went insolvent in march 2003.
Starbreeze, the developers of Enclave, withdrew the publishing rights of the game - now the future of the PC version of Enclave is unsure.
