Mentally challenging and extremely scary
The Good
I loved the mysticism about the circle and the offerings I had to make to appease the ancient power. Now I didn't get scared that much, meaning nothing was jumping out of nowhere trying to kill me all the time, but the general feel of the abandoned petrol station, the woods and the sound effects were quite effective. I also like these games where there is a good ending and a bad ending. What I like most of all is the music and the sound effects.
The Bad
I don't like being scared all the time in games and in this game I enjoyed the relaxed way I could play without jumping out of my seat every 5 minutes, but after all the build up of the mysterious being, I only encountered it once. It may have made the game that more thrilling if their were more sightings of it. Overall though it's a really fun game.
The Bottom Line
I would describe it as an encounter with an ancient force in a modern world, one that used to be feared and respected. Basically a dig site takes place on the sacred ground of Barrow Hill and someone, no, something has awoken and is angry.
