Trine Games is a wholly owned game development division of Trine Entertainment Ltd. and is located in India. The company was founded in June 2006 by the brothers Somil and Sangam Gupta.

Trine Games is a developer of interactive entertainment for PC, Console and Mobile phones with a primary focus on Multiplayer gaming. It is also a service provider for video game art and game development for outsourcing purposes.

On August 6th 2013, information has surfaced that Trine Games laid off half of its staff without pay and the studio was closed. CEO Sangam Gupta reported that due to an agreement with two western companies, the company was facing restructuring and would continue operating at another location. Since then, the studio has yet to begin operating and it is completely closed for now.

Recently, there was a rumor that Trine Games fired 80% employee strength without clearing the remaining dues. Soon this rumor became truth and Trine Games lay off all the remaining staff without paying the salary. The Studio is not operating and Permanently shutdown leaving all employees behind without pay.
