Overview edit · view history

Mirinae Software was a software developer and publisher from South Korea. The company was founded in February 1987 by Cho Daeho, Jeong Jaesung, and Yang Jaeyoung. Its name derives from an old Korean word for "Milky Way". Mirinae was the only Korean team that developed games for early home computers and later made a transition to DOS PC.

In 1994, half of the staff left the company to found Sailon Soft, but the two companies continued close cooperation afterwards.

The company became defunct in 1999. Two years later, its former members founded a new company called Mirinae Entertainment, which developed only one game, Khan Online (2003), before disappearing from the stage.
