Onoma was a development studio based in Montréal, Canada and originally established as Square Enix Montréal by Square Enix in 2011.

On 2 May 2022, Embracer Group AB entered into an agreement to acquire the studio along with Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal from Square Enix. The acquisition was completed on 22 August 2022. From then on the three studios formed Embracer's 12th operative group under the leadership of Phil Rogers and his management teams. Following the acquisition, the studio was renamed Onoma.

On 17 November 2022, it was announced that the studio was being closed.
