3d6 Games, Inc. is a game development company that was initially active between 1999 and 2002. It was founded by William S. Schmitt, Troy Sheets and some associates. The studio, originally based in San Mateo, California and later in Henderson, Nevada, USA, created games exclusively for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance platforms. In three years, the company worked on eight released titles. The studio was made dormant in 2002 and two internal projects, Rocket Dog! and Slider, were never completed.
In 2012 the company was relaunched as a developer for mobile and tablet games for iOS, Android and Windows 8 platforms, with a small office located in Westlake Village, California.
