Overview edit · view history
MumboJumbo was formed by former employees of Ritual Entertainment and initially specialized in developing first person/third person action games. Credits include Myth III: The Wolf Age, published by Take Two Interactive and Medal of Honor: Spearhead published by Dreamworks.
More recently, the team has focused on the development of games for online distribution over the internet and has completed Snowball Run, Power Chips and High Roller.
The company currently consists of two studios: the main company in Dallas, and MumboJumbo LA (formerly Zono, Inc.) in Los Angeles. The latter was acquired and renamed in July 2005. In October 2006, the company announced it would adapt its casual games for the PSP platform. The first two releases were Platypus and Luxor: The Wrath of Set.
In addition to development, MumboJumbo serves as a frontline publisher of Windows and Macintosh software for the retail channel. Currently, the company's products can be found at leading retailers including CompUSA, Micro Center, Fry's Electronics, GameStop, Electronic Boutiques, and Target, as well as top distribution outlets throughout the world.
MumboJumbo has strong relationships with many of the industry's top publishers including Activision, Crave Entertainment, Disney, Fox Interactive, Gamehouse, Interplay Entertainment, PopCap Games, Take Two Interactive and Ubi Soft Entertainment.
