Overview edit · view history
Virtual Xpérience was a French game development studio that was especially active in the early nineties creating games for the Jaguar. They were working on the titles Indiana Jags and Zzyorxx II, but both were eventually not released. Their access to the Jaguar devkits helped the French studio Shen Technologies SARL however, who borrowed one during the weekends and were able to complete the game Super Burnout. The team at Virtual Xpérience saw that Shen progressed much faster with their project and eventually let them have a devkit fulltime to polish the project. They were also the ones who made contact with Atari to get the game published in 1995.
Later, programmer Thierry Schembri made available the homebrew game VXpong for the Jaguar console, but no games were ever officially released by the company.
