Game development company PLASTIC REALITY TECHNOLOGIES,s.r.o. was founded in 2000. The idea of being involved in the game industry originated from the members and co-founders who are Petr Smilek, Jan Bulin and Petr Sovis - all of whom have degrees in Computer Science Engineering at the University in Brno, Czech Republic, and Jiri Kocab - graduate of the Komensky University, Faculty of Law in Bratislava.Therefore our team has had from the very beginning, a strong technology and legal background.

However, the very beginning of the development process of today´s technology used in games developed by PLASTIC REALITY TECHNOLOGIES, s.r.o. started in 1998. Formerly used XReality Engine was changed in specific major areas and nowadays is presented as Typhoon Engine. For instance the game ´Korea:Forgotten Conflict´ runs on Typhoon Engine.

In May 2000 the co-founders decided to set up a company with limited liability called PLASTIC REALITY TECHNOLOGIES, s.r.o. with its HQ in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic.
