Overview edit · view history

EA Mobile Montreal was a game development studio based in Montreal, Canada. It was founded in 2001 as Hexacto Games, a studio created based on the assets of Dyad Digital Studios Inc. after that company was closed in 2001.

Hexacto was led by Alexandre Taillefer. Originally they developed games for the handheld, PC and iTV platforms. The company was acquired by JAMDAT Mobile in May 2003 and the name was changed to JAMDAT Mobile (Canada) ULC.

When Electronic Arts acquire JAMDAT in December 2005, the studio name was changed once again, this time to the current EA Mobile Montreal. EA Mobile Montreal then operated as a division of EA Mobile. In April 2013 EA confirmed the close of the studio.

Credited on 35 Games from 2001 to 2013
