A Russian company that develops computer, mobile and social games of various genres.
Our Mission
Sugar Games has been around for quite a while. Our primary emphasis is making fun games for children and adults. And games are not simply business to us, they have become an essential part of our life. If you ask anyone here, at Sugar Games, why he is in this industry, he will inevitably say it's because of some great game he played as a kid. He will say it was fun and is something he wanted to spend the rest of his life doing. So, we are all true gamers who once decided to turn their hobby into profession.
"Sugar Games project has grown out of a Christmas gift game" - said Michael Tretyakov, CEO of Sugar Games. My wife, Ann, loves playing computer games. Once, I decided to make her a surprise and write a cute puzzle as a Christmas gift for her. I was sure that with my knowledge and experience it wouldn't take me long. However, designing that game turned out to be even more challenging and subtle than any other software I had written before. My wife was absolutely fascinated with the puzzle and her enthusiasm and encouragement inspired me to go into the game business and start my own game company. We decided to call it Sugar Games, after the name of that Christmas puzzle.
Sugar Games creates games for everyone, yet we have our priority customers. Our primary goal is to make games for casual gamers who want to play quick, easy to learn games with a positive plot that can be finished in one sitting. According to Mr. Tretyakov "Over the past 10 years, the game industry has been focused on almost exclusively hardcore gamers. Game developers are just waking up to the fact that casual gamers make up a huge potential market for them that still remains largely untapped." Sugar Games is here to address the needs of casual gamers: children and adults, men and women.
Sugar Games has done its best to create attractive, non-violent and technologically sophisticated games that can save you from the boredom of everyday life. Today's game market is simply flooded with "shoot-them-up" staff. We admit that Quake or any of its clones may at first seem exciting but then you simply get bored beating on the same character over and over for no reason at all. We have different games to offer - fun, lovely puzzles that make you think, not kill, no less exciting than "point-and-shoot", puzzles that can entertain all the family. Sugar Games creates games to relax, not to tense you up!
