The game installation packages come with adware, which can install toolbars and do browser hijacking. The games seem specifically licensed to MyPlayCity.com and are not offered for free somewhere else without adware.

Re-released commercial games typically have their original publisher company text and logo replaced with that from MyPlayCity.com and developer credits were removed often.

Most of their games were made in Russia or Eastern Europe.

There are basically two type of games offered on their internet site: Professionally made casual games, which are already a few or several years old, once or even still sold via other sites like Alawar or Big Fish Games. The other type are very short low quality amateur games, a lot of them made with FPS Creator or Unity game engine and tools.
