Javaground is development studio focused on the creation of mobile development tools. Its most important technology is the Xpress Suite that allows programmers to develop games and port them to a range of platforms, including JAVA, BREW, Android, Windows Mobile and iPhone. The studio also uses its own game technology to develop and port mobile games.

Javaground was originally started in Brussels, Belgium in December 2001 as Java Ground SPRL. In May 2005 the company was relocated to Irvine, Southern California (USA) as Javaground USA Inc. and currently it also has an office in Imola (Italy) as Javaground Italia s.r.l.

Since 2006 the company has been working extensively with Sony Pictures, which publishes most of its titles, as they are often based on Sony licenses. Javaground's first major independent title was the iPhone game UniWar, released in April 2009.

In 2009 Javaground also launched its own mobile game marketplace called Xpressed.com.
