Advanced Gaming Systems Inc. (AGSI) exists to develop, and promote the sale of, the computer Harpoon series of air/naval computer wargames.
Harpoon is the premier modern naval warfare simulation. It grew out of Larry Bond’s Harpoon board game designed in the 1980s, the one used by author Tom Clancy in writing The Hunt for Red October and Red Storm Rising. Harpoon underwent a number of evolutions, including Harpoon Classic (HCE), Harpoon 2, Harpoon 3, Harpoon Advanced Naval Warfare (ANW) and H3 MilSim (was Harpoon 3 Pro).
