BigBig Studios Ltd., based in Leamington Spa, England, was a game development studio founded in 2001 by four ex-Codemasters employees with backing from Evolution Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment. They developed Pursuit Force (2005) for the PSP and in October 2007 they released the sequel Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice.
One month earlier, on 19th September 2007, the studio, along with Evolution Studios, was acquired by SCE Worldwide Studios.
The studio's next project was MotorStorm: Arctic Edge for the PS2 and PSP, released in October 2009. On January 27, 2011, it was announced that BigBig studio was working on Little Deviants for the PS Vita. It would be the studio's last title.
In January 2012 it was announced Sony had closed the division as part of a larger reorganisation of its British studio structure.
