Overview edit · view history
The Attic was a two-man development team started by Shaun McClure (Artist), and David Bowler (Programmer). Both had previously worked together at Wise Owl Software. The company was called "The Attic" as its genesis was in the attic of David's parents house.
The sole game that they developed was Fast Lane! The Spice Engineering Challenge for the Amiga and ST, although they also subcontracted Frightmare (on the PC) to a friend of theirs.
After the development of Fast Lane (for Artronic), Artronic went into voluntarily liquidation, and no royalty payments were forthcoming, and so Shaun and David both went to work for Enigma Variations Ltd.
The Attic was founded in 1988 and lasted one year.
