As Assistant Producer Daniel Carter worked directly with overseas UK studios and domestic developers for consumer entertainment software and game console products. He managed product quality in simultaneous development and release cycles, contributing to design, localization and compatibility testing as lead software quality assurance engineer delivering 16 simultaneous quarterly products. He additionally assisted designers and developers in refining software specifications, source code debugging, documenting defect tracking, performing release engineering, approved pre-production version management and publisher production verification as well as supporting customer service patch release.

Release platforms included Intel PC, Mac, Amiga, C-64, Amstrad, Phillips CD for several design houses in the United States and United Kingdom, for software publishers Mediagenic, and later Accolade.

A little known factoid: Dan started and hosted inter-company turn based board game competitions between Accolade, Electronic Arts, Broderbund, CapCom and Sony.
