Tim Burke is the Lead 3D Artist with Her Interactive. He is responsible for producing all aspects of the 3-D art from the conceptual stage to the finely rendered realistic environments that have become a Her Interactive trademark. This includes designing the layouts of each location, modeling and texturing 3-D objects, creating the desired mood through lighting, and creating ambient animations that enhance game play. He is also responsible, under the guidance of the creative director, for maintaining a synergy between environments created by different 3D artists.
Tim's interest in architecture started developing as a boy in Illinois where he spent much of his time creating imaginary worlds the old fashioned way, with a hammer and nails. Now he uses the computer as a building tool, combining his intuitive sense of play with his advanced education.
Tim graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in History. After moving to Seattle, he attended the Art Institute and graduated top of his class with an Associate degree of Applied Arts in Computer Animation in 1997.
