John O'Brien is a senior software development engineer at Microsoft since May 2012. Before that he worked as a senior gameplay programmer at Insomniac Games (February 2010 - April 2012). Earlier he founded his own company Victorious Software, LLC in April 2008 where he designed and implemented all aspects of Gridiron Strategist, a career football strategy game for the PC. Prior to founding his own company he worked as a senior software engineer at Red Storm Entertainment for almost ten years (July 1997 - March 2008), and also as a software engineer at Nortel Networks (June 1994 - July 1997) and IBM (September 1992 - June 1994). He graduated from Drew University in 1992 with a BS in Computer Science.
