Monty's career in the industry started after he left the recording industry in 2010 when he was brought on to work as a sound scripter for Retro Studios. Upon graduating Loyola in 2011, he went on to form his own independent game studio Maestro Interactive Games. It was there he launched one of the first indie titles for the Nintendo Wii U as well as developed multiple licensed titles for various brands such as Hello Kitty and L.O.L. Surprise!
He, as of August 2022, is a producer at 2K Games where he has since helped with The Quarry, NBA2K and WWE2K titles as well as Tiny Tina's and the upcoming Marvels Midnight Suns.
