Norihiko Hibino is a composer who founded the audio studio GEM Impact in 2005.
Hibino was born in Japan but moved to America to study at the Berklee College of Music. After moving back to Japan he was employed by Konami, working principally on the Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders franchises. His connection to the Metal Gear series continued after his departure from Konami, as GEM Impact contributed about 90 minutes of music for the cut scenes in Metal Gear Solid 4.
Hibino has also released albums of video game music.
