Todd Papy began his career at Midway Games as a Designer/Artist in 1996, where he worked for over seven years. Following this, he held positions at SCEA Santa Monica and Atari, contributing as a Senior Designer and Game Designer, respectively.

Returning to SCEA Santa Monica in 2006, Papy served in various roles, including Senior Designer and Design Director. Notably, he held the position of Design Director on God of War III (2010). His tenure at the studio extended to roles as Game Director and Design Director, where he played a significant role in shaping game development processes.

In 2010, Papy joined Crytek as a Game Director on a then announced project, but most likely Hunt: Showdown (2018), before moving on to Cloud Imperium Games in February 2015. At Cloud Imperium Games, he started as Design Director and currently serves as the Star Citizen Live Game Director. With over nine years of experience at Cloud Imperium Games, Papy continues to contribute to the ongoing development of Star Citizen.
