Dark theme - MobyGames

Hi,

Any chance for an official dark theme for MobyGames that could be switched on in user settings? I don't really like to use third party tools for these things, an official setting would be much better.. and whiteness causes too much eye strain for many many people :(

I think this guy would gladly help you with this, he has a nice dark theme for MG, you would only need to implement his css code:

As someone who frequently minimizes the MobyGames window because it is white, bright, and hurts my eyes - I totally would love for this to get implemented. Excellent for modernization and QoL.

Fun fact: MobyGames used to have an official dark theme years before it became the norm for several websites. Unfortunately it was dropped because the developers had only so much time to keep the regular mode.

Interesting, but what do you mean by "developers had only so much time to keep the regular mode"? That part confuses me.

Sorry, I mean that the only coder we had back then couldn't keep upgrading both the "regular theme" and "dark theme", so the owners decided to drop the dark theme.

Hi, Thanks for replying my suggestion :) What about the suggested solution in the OP post to contact the guy who made a dark theme for Mobygames. (I'm currently using it and it is perfect!)
