While submitting the promo images for StarFlyers: Alien Space Chase, I saw some Animated GIFs from one of the artist's websites. I thought it would be a good idea to submit them to MobyGames, but there was a problem. It shows the first frame of the Animated GIF in the Promo Images contribution and approval status sections the last time I checked and then it goes blank for the rest of the animation. I don't know why, but that's the way the GIF is supposed to be or maybe there was an issue with the thumbnails on MobyGames where the Animated GIFs won't work correctly in some situations. Do you know if there is any way to fix that? I'm using Mac OS X El Capitan's Safari web browser.

I suspect this is the same bug as for a company logo I tried as an animated gif; it does not show as a thumbnail at all, only as a text link, and does not animate when displayed in full. (I guess I'll replace mine with a static image)
edit: I was partly in error; the full image logo does indeed animate, it is just the thumbnail that is blank / text link only. http://www.mobygames.com/company/simflyers-associated (logo link on top right)

Maybe it needs a specific image frame selected for the thumbnail?

I've uploaded Outlaws animated logo and all frames shows just fine. Even the thumbnail is animated. Maybe there's a bug in GIF file?
