So, MobyGames now has an Internet Archive collection to help preserve video games press CD-ROMs - more info in this news post.

So as a result, we now have some new items coming in to the Archive.org collection, and we need a checklist of CD-ROMs that have been dealt with, and those that haven't. So here it is!

Please feel free to claim any that haven't been dealt with yet - be aware there's quite a bit of fiddling with file formats. Right now Virgil & Krvavi Abadas are our experts when it comes to this.

Here we go:

[ON ARCHIVE.ORG, ON MOBYGAMES] Atlus E3 2006, Capcom E3 2001, Capcom E3 2002, Dreamcast European Premiere, Enix E3 2002, Nintendo E3 1999, Nintendo Gamers Summit 2002, Sega Dreamcast 2000, Sega E3 2002, Square Millennium Foreign Media Kit 2000, Activision E3 1996, Psygnosis E3 1996, Psygnosis E3 1998, Nintendo E3 2004, Nintendo E3 2005, Nintendo E3 2006, Microsoft Xbox E3 2002 DVD, Sony E3 2002, Final Fantasy VII Art Assets, Interplay Product Presentation 1999, Virgin Interactive ECTS Press Kit 1999, Ubi Soft Digital Press Kit Fall-Winter 1999, Pokemon Gold/Silver, Hasbro Interactive Press Kit ECTS 1999, Dino Crisis Digital Press Kit (Virgil).

[IN PROCESS] Sony PlayStation Autumn Winter Collection 99 Press Cd 3, Sony PlayStation Autumn Winter Collection 99 Press Cd 2, Sony PlayStation Autumn Winter Collection 99 Press Cd 1 (Krvavi Abadas)

[ON ARCHIVE.ORG, NEEDS CLAIMING] E3 2013 Nintendo Artwork, Gran Turismo 3, SEGA Dreamcast Digital Press Kit (1999), Nintendo Artwork CD IV ( Feb. 2000), Nintendo Artwork CD III ( August 1999).

[NOTE: we also have a few CD-ROMs which have assets uploaded on MobyGames.com where we don't have the CD-ROM saved on Archive.org yet. So if anyone can upload the originals, that would be great. Looks like these are: Sony ECTS 2000 CD-ROM, Sony E3 2001 CD-ROM.]

Updated with a few new discs - anyone want to claim the misc (largely game-specific!) ones we haven't worked on yet?

(BTW, look at some of the great stuff Virgil is uploading from the Activision E3 1996 press kit - e.g. lots of Spycraft promo art, including behind the scenes pics.)

Added a whole BUNCH of new CD-ROMs we got from a German donator! Virgil started uploading 3 of the CDs already, e.g. http://www.mobygames.com/game/earthworm-jim-3d/promo (scroll down), but we're looking for more help :)

I have a personal interest in the Gold and Silver CD anyway, so I'll claim it.

Thanks, edited! We also just got a bunch of new discs which Virgil is having an initial look at, we'll post on Archive.org soon.

Unfortunately, some sudden things have come up and I might not be able to get online reliably for a while. If anyone else wants to pick up the Gold/Silver CD, they're free to do so.

Sega DREAMCAST Style Guide CD and SEGA Dreamcast Digital Press Kit (1999) are the same thing judging by the file size, and also looking at it's content - it's almost the same CD as another Dreamcast ISO I've uploaded before.
