Is this: https://www.mobygames.com/game/2049/lords-of-the-realm-ii-royal-edition/

The same thing as this: https://www.amazon.com/Lords-Realm-Royal-Collection-mac-pc/dp/B00001LCDB

Or should they be separate entries? They seem to contain the same games within the compilation.

Not sure - the Mac version is included on the CD on the Amazon item "Lords of the Realm: Royal Collection"

The physical covers we have on "Lords of the Realm II: Royal Edition" only shows DOS&Win95 versions, no Macintosh version mentioned.

The specs for our 'Edition' entry does list the Mac version of "Lords of the Realm II" as a download item, the release info says it's a GoG item from 2013, and there is a (half-dead) identifier link to GoG (not available on archive.org), presumably for this version, but there is only a Win95 version available now.

Note that searching on GoG you only find the alias name "Lords of the Realm: Royal Edition", without the Roman numeral II, also with no Mac mentioned there. Possibly this was withdrawn at some time after release, which makes the boxed Mac version a bit odd, requiring a 68040/PowerPC, System 7.5/7.6, which is a bit old nowadays. This US 'Collection' is not a 2013 release IMO, but an older 1997 release.

There is also a few related items to look at by searching for the UPC/EAN barcodes seen on Amazon. https://ogdb.eu/index.php?section=game&gameid=6955 https://www.ebay.com/itm/154171018882

The 'Edition' vs 'Collection' were different items to start with in 1997. Long after this, in 2013 the GoG release temporarily added the Mac version to a download bundle of the same name, but it's now gone, so maybe it could stay as two separate compilations?

What to do with these transient compilations, from various digital sources?
