I couldn't find any evidence of a Macintosh version. If it was read as "coming soon" in the advertising, be aware that "coming soon" things sometimes don't come at all...

Not sure, one of the proof items was an old (1991) archived posting from a seller of a boxed mac version of the game, referring to the wanted pricing from 'latest' MacWorld @30USD.
Other references was the priced ads from magazine/catalogue, but no currently viewable images, as the tinypic site used is dead.
