My apologies for doing this, but I got this one, but I want to sure to which one all this should be submitted to as Cover Art;

The contents of the box;

It is from 2001.

I'd lump it in with this I think: http://www.mobygames.com/game/icewind-dale-complete

Where can you see if you can download the Trials of the Luremaster? There is nothing about it on the back of this box and on the media.

Have you or someone else the UK release of Icewind Dale Complete to compare them? If you know what I mean.

Trials of the Luremaster is a free expansion, from what I can read on Moby's description of that part (I don't think I played that one), so I guess anyone can download it to their Heart of Winter game?

The only difference would be if it is already included on the discs or not, which is not clear.

This release seems to be the same, without extra (Luremaster) content, but it is from 2010: http://www.mobygames.com/game/icewind-dale-icewind-dale-heart-of-winter

I have the feeling that it is the same as that one. However, I do wonder about that fact that the one that is already submitted is from 2010 and is it known if there are more releases or only Russian. If you know what I mean. What should I do?

Edit: I wish there was a way to compare my box with others to see which release it is.
The only difference would be if it is already included on the discs or not, which is not clear.
Interestingly enough the Polish release (that was submitted by some) has this; http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/icewind-dale-complete/cover-art/gameCoverId,35542/ and as you can see it says 2001-2002

The German release: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/icewind-dale-complete/cover-art/gameCoverId,153963/ has even a bonus CD.

The more I think of it, there is great possibility that the Russian release (http://www.mobygames.com/game/icewind-dale-icewind-dale-heart-of-winter) is a much later release. I also found this here: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Icewind-Dale-Heart-of-Winter-PC-Role-Playing-Game-Black-Isle-/322473850706?hash=item4b14f07752:g:FsoAAOSwiDFYK4Xs

And this: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/ICEWIND-ICE-WIND-DALE-1-Heart-Of-Winter-Add-On-Expansion-Pc-Cd-Rom-FAST-POST-/172613554194?hash=item283091d012:g:798AAMXQHeBSD6oX

What do you and others think and what is the best approach to this?

I'd suggest add it as a new release to an existing bundle that most matches the physical content. (Maybe the Russian release - though there are no covers for it to compare with.) The title is a bit different it seems? There is a similarly titled Baldurs Gate cover here:

http://www.bathantiquesonline.com/antique-collectible/vintage-boxed-board-game/antique-baldurs-gate-tales-of-the-sword-coast-plus-expansion-pack-collectible-36022.html

The links including more CD:s belong to other bundles I think - like the German one - there is a 3-in-1 set for that.

(The UK White Label image was too fuzzy to see what the 4th disk contained, possibly it's the Luremaster, Bonus content, or maybe documentation/patches, I can't say.)

I think this is the Russian release; http://ru.akella.com/Game.aspx?id=2313

The page says: The original name of the game: Icewind Dale + Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter

So, in my humble opinion there is a possibility that the Russian release is a much later re-release. A lot of their releases are much later than the originals. If you know what I mean.

The Russian release for Baldur's Gate Original Saga: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/baldurs-gate-the-original-saga/cover-art/gameCoverId,245034/
http://www.bathantiquesonline.com/antique-collectible/vintage-boxed-board-game/antique-baldurs-gate-tales-of-the-sword-coast-plus-expansion-pack-collectible-36022.html
Indeed. It is the same kind of thing. What to do about the title?

Is it okay that I submit my release in the release-info (http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/icewind-dale-icewind-dale-heart-of-winter/release-info) like:

Windows

Published by: Interplay Entertainment Corp.*

Developed by: Black Isle Studios

Country: Great Britain

Release Date: 2001

And then submit the scans of my box and its contents.

What do you think?

*On the back of the box says www.Interplay.com.

I think it would be ok for this bundle to keep the russian title - the text on your cover could be convoluted enough to exceed the allowable title line length - because it is both a pre- and post- amble to describe the whole package...I would suggest to add the preamble as a comment to the scanned cover set and release info only. Maybe the spine has a shorter title?

(If anyone objects, please say so here, or forever keep their peace; Though we can change it afterwards if need be, of course)

Interplay Entertainment Corp as Publisher is fine, they are written on the CD also.

The spin has on one side Icewind Dale and on the other side says Heart of Winter. It is like the back of the box.

So. In my humble opinion I have the feeling that it originally was named like this by Interplay and NOT exclusive Russian. (I cannot find anything at this moment what actually IS the right title for it) If you know what I mean, sorry if I am a bit unclear.

Ok, well I sugest to keep the title as is - after all it is a UK release, and only US releases would take priority - over the English language title of the later Russian release - so there is no requirement to change it.

(Even as an alt 'UK sleeve title' it is a mouthful IMO, but you could try that if you wish).
