I tried getting some screenshots (using irfanview) from this game, for windows, but they almost all show up in some psychedelic colors, while in-game they look fine.
It's being captured as a 640x480 pix resolution in SVGA, with 256 colors palette, which results in this effect. I've not seen this in other games; not sure if I need to do something with my screen to correct it, or if the game is just doing weird stuff in irfanview.
I see the ScummVM site, who supports this game, claims it's using 16bit color, but for some reason my screen captures are only 8 bits, i.e. 256 colors.

Not sure how to change this, the game settings are limited.

I got it sorted; for some unknown reason, irfanview failed to capture the screenshots correctly, but fraps could do it fine.
(Searching some more information in other forums on this, it seems many free image programs, like Irfanview or Gimp, does not properly support 16bit color depth, but converts the images to 8bit depth when writing. Photoshop seems to do it correct though.)
