So I found out this game was made into a cartoon which seemingly only aired in France. Somebody who worked on the show uploaded one of the episodes, which can be seen here:

Hmm...not sure if only a specific game in the series should be listed, or if all qualify? (there are a few)

I would say all of them, the series was announced after the last game was released.

I added the first main game, the description of the others indicate they are somewhat cut down versions in various ways; e.g. only one of the ninjas appearing, or being shorter promotional games (3) to the main game.
