So he got the ball rolling with Adventure on the 2600. Haunted House was presumably derived from it in some way.

Then he skipped tracks to TLC on the Apple 2, with Gertrude's Puzzles, Secrets, Rocky's Boots, and Robot Odyssey. They all have the same look and feel and a connection to Warren. Is it fair to deem them a series or style of game?

That depends - the same look and feel was also present in a lot of games that were directly influenced by Adventure (Russki Duck and Castle Adventure come to mind), and I'd sooner lump the original with then than with Robinett's later educational games... all members of the same extended family, I guess.
