Dull Platformer, but you can rip your arms off!

The Good
The intro has a decent version of "On Top of Old Smokey" in it, esp. for the time.

When you fall too far and grab a ledge, it rips your arms off.

Otherwise, there isn't much positive to say about this game.

The Bad
The entire game is just jumping up. But how that functions is really dodgy. Your grip is governed by a specific pixel under each hand, and this often leads to you slipping when grabbing some surfaces, or when things move. Though the joystick controls the game fairly well, the way your character's grip is tested makes it feel wonky and unpleasant.

Moving objects you're holding on to do not move you with them. On the very first level, there are vines moving up and down, but you need to jump up them to proceed. On level 4, there's a ski lift that moves from right to left, but when you jump onto it, you also need to move right along with it.

The Bottom Line
This is a climbing platform game with a constantly decreasing score. If your score hits 0, you lose.

Your only actions are moving left and right, and jumping up, left or right. Your goal is to get to the top of each of the levels. There's water, earthquakes, moving rocks, carts and sky lifts, which you have to move to follow, and so on to deal with across 13 levels, many of which are just repeats with marginal changes.

Grabbing onto things feels very slippery since it seems the game only seems to test a specific pixel under each of your hands, and you don't move with the vines or carts or whatever else you're holding on to. The last level is very simple, and when you reach the top, a helicopter comes by and picks you up with a horrible "voice" that tries to say "Try the next level", and then you are moved up a difficulty level. The higher levels have your timer go down way faster and everything moves faster.

This game is quite uninteresting and very frustrating to play. It's totally forgettable except for the unique one-off gag when you fall too far: if you do and grab onto an edge on the way down, your character's arms rip right off and fall down a moment later than the rest of your body. RIP!
