JewelBox
Description
JewelBox is an early clone of Columns for X-server. As per the original, groups of three jewels stacked in a column are dropped in sequence into a well. The order of the jewels can be swapped, but the orientation cannot be changed. When placed, any line of three jewels either horizontally, vertically or diagonally will be cleared. The game becomes faster as play progresses, and the game ends when jewels are stacked up to the starting position.
Originally developed for the Apollo Domain/OS, it was subsequently ported/cloned to X on Unix, where it has shown up in a variety of Linux and BSD distributions.
