The game boots to a faux BASIC screen that lets the player choose what version to play.

Oh Mummy Genesis opens with a cutscene providing the remake's new backstory.

Level layouts are accurate to the original game.

Walking around a sarcophagus opens it; there are several different possible contents. The player needs to collect at least a key and one treasure to exit.

There are a few variations on the basic gameplay. This level is filled with water, so the player has to remember their footsteps.

This level is pitch-black; the player can only see eyes to tell player and enemy positions, and closed sarcophagi are inbisible.

The first boss! This sphinx obscures the player's view, and will swoop down to attack.

Game over.

"Oh Mummy Classic" is an accurate reproduction of the original Amstrad CPC game, complete with a mock loading screen.
