Ancient Warlords

Ancient Warlords is a trading card game set in the late antiquity, from middle Europe to the shores of China. The player is the commander of a small mercenary company, the city in which the player starts specifies the starting troops. In the taverns of the cities the player can sell existing cards and buy new cards for the own army. There are four different fractions in the game (Chinese, Indian, Persian, Roman), but the cards of the different fractions can be combined in the desks. Money is won in the battles, which also took places in the cities.

In the battles, the units are represented by the cards. There are two battle lines: The first line is for the melee combat and the second for the ranged combat. Beside melee and ranged units there are also special cards with unique powers that can be placed in every row. A battle round is won by the one who has the stronger force (melee plus ranged power) and a battle consists of three rounds.
