Dream Revenant

Dream Revenant is a first-person adventure game set in a dream-like world that takes inspiration from the 1950s. The player guides comic strip panelist Carson Hughs on his deathbed through an open world that can be roamed freely. The artist's career is haunted by a tormented childhood and this affects the environment through his childhood memories. A large part of the gameplay has the player find a way to open up blocked passages to get access to more pathways to explore. This is usually done by collecting objects and solving environment based puzzles.

There are also a number of Simon-says sequences involving powers where colour-touch sequences need to be completed while environmental objects fly through the air. These powers are x-ray vision, telepathy and super strength. Parts of the story are often revealed when objects such as comic strips or violin are discovered, often triggering a sequence with voices from his life such as himself, his former girlfriend, his editor and his mother.
