Arthur's Kindergarten

Arthur's Kindergarten is an educational title on two discs for children aged four to six based on the book series by Marc Brown. The first disc contains the game Trouble at Arthur's Treehouse and the second is a creative activities disc. On the first disc the player needs to help Arthur rebuild his treehouse after the storm destroyed. He and his friends decide to help different grown-ups in exchange for some money so they can buy all the materials they need. For each activity there are three difficulty levels and auto levelling can optionally be enabled. Arthur can be steered around on a town map to visit the different locations.

One of the activities takes place on the city dump. A man mentions an object and the players need to click and select the correct item in the environment. In another you need to complete ice-cream flavors by guessing the missing letters in words on a board. In the lumberyard you need to guess and select the right boxes with tools. All options are briefly shown and then the boxes are closed again. Only then the needed tool is revealed and the player needs to remember which box it was. At the garage the friends play a game where they need to jump on crates corresponding with a shape described by its form, structure and color. The garden has a math game based on counting flowers. At the library Arthur listens to statements and needs to distinguish between fact and fiction. At a window shop Arthur needs to sequence events in a logical order, while another teaches the value of money and coins.

Skills that are taught include arithmetic, arts & crafts, counting & sorting, drawing & coloring, letter recognition and sounds, logic & problem solving, music composition, patterns & sequencing, rhyming, sizes & shapes, vocabulary. The second disc offers a selection of tools that let the children create a creative product, using a card creator, a music machine, and a place to make printable puzzles and games for offline play.
