Before the game can start there are a couple of screens worth of safety instructions

Here the player has selected 'Dance Training' from the main menu. The same blue background with appropriate white text is used as a load screen throughout the game

A Dance Training screen. The same kind of screen, but with different dancers, is used in all options of the game. It's a good introduction but there's no score or way to assess progress.

Starting a game in Dance Mode. There are three difficulty settings, Easy, Medium, or Expert. This is a Medium setting game and the player can choose one of these three tracks

Once the score for the session has been announced the player gets to hear the crowd's reaction, 9400 is not a good score so they make a sort of unenthusiastic murmur while the dancer looks embarrassed

This is the player putting their name to a high score, it's a high because it is the only score

There's a Jukebox mode where the player can select any tune of their choosing. When highlighted like this there's a brief pause and then the tune's introduction starts playing.

There are three pre-set controller configurations. The game can be played with a hand-held controller as well as with a dance mat

There is an Aerobics mode too. The player starts by entering their weight, you can tell the target audience by the fact that the start weight is about 7st

This is the Aerobics mode. Instead of points it records calories burned. It's hard keeping pace using a controller, trying to play the game while dancing would result in a serious workout
