Kaseki Play

Kaseki Play is a game which involves excavating antique fossils and dinosaur bones buried underground. Players are given seven options to choose, four of which are tools, including their breath, a detector which tells players where exactly something is buried, a brush, a mattock and what looks like an angle grinder. The angle grinder and the player's breath have a limit to their use and take some time to replenish.

The aim of the game is to dig out the fossils and bones, clean them up and then put them together.

There are balloons hidden underground which will pop on contact with some of the tools or excessive brushing so players must work very delicately in order to gain more points and not damage any of the antiques. Players will lose points if they damage the bones using the angle grinder or the mattock.

The whole process is done by using a mouse or a Wacom tablet and relaxing music is played while the player is doing their job.

The game requires patience as excavating bones and fossils must be done carefully and bit by bit and the game is very strict in terms of calculating how much the player has cleared the stage and cleaned up the bones and fossils that they've found. Clearing each stage would require players to spend no less than 15 minutes on all the necessary actions.
